I. Overview
Air Slide Conveyor is a kind of pneumatic conveying equipment widely used for conveying dry powdered materials. It is often used to convey cement and raw material powder in the cement industry.
Compared with conveying equipment such as screw conveyors and belt conveyors, it has no rotating parts, is easy to maintain, has good sealing, no noise, is safe and reliable to operate, consumes less power, is convenient to change the conveying direction, and can feed and unload at multiple points.
Air Slide Conveyor is made of several troughs made of ordinary thin steel plates and other accessories connected by bolts. There is a breathable layer between the upper and lower troughs, and the air conveying chute is installed at a certain angle from high to low from the feed end to the discharge end.
The material chamber is above the breathable layer and the air chamber is below. When the gas with a certain pressure is blown into the air chamber, the material is fluidized through the breathable layer, so the material flows in the trough like a fluid under the action of gravity. Usually, a ventilator is used as the wind source. The excess air in the material chamber is extracted by the dust collector through the exhaust port of the air conveying chute.
